Laminated Safety Glass
Laminated safety glass is manufactured from two or more sheets of float glass bonded together with one or more Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) layers.
Toughened Safety Glass
Manufactured on a horizontal roller furnace, normal Float Glass is heated at approximately 680 degrees Celsius then rapidly cooled ensuring high compressive stresses at the surface with balancing tensile stresses in the centre. This conversion increases the strength of glass up to five times.
Insulated Glass Units
With ever rising energy cost, sealed insulating glass units are essential to any building. By trapping layers of dry air two glass panes, thermal resistance is naturally increased, providing reduced heat loss in winter and reduced cooling load in summer.
